These earrings are part of the "Plastic Fantastic" 2019 project which is a collaboration between designer Michelle Lowe-Holder and creator of "The Sustainable Sequin Company" Rachel Clowes.The aim of the collaboration was to create ‘special occasion’ jewels using a recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) sequin film, made from pre-consumer waste in China. - the pieces also celebrate the idea of a new luxury by uplifting and elevating a humble material with hand craft and design. All designs can be de-assembled and recycled again.

Dominic Crinson is the inventor of Lightcase and runs PhotoLightcase. He is a father, artist, designer and inventor. He has made a name for himself in the UK interior design work with his range of ceramic tiles for high end luxury spaces. in 1996 he invented a process for digitally printing onto ceramic tiles. Currently he is focussed on making Lightcase better.
