Harriet Caslin

I have been designing and making ceramic lighting and tableware since 2012. I’m based on Mersea Island, off of the Essex coast. I very recently returned having lived in Denmark for the last 4 years where I worked as a studio technician in a ceramics artist and residency centre. Strongly influenced by both my own Scandinavian roots and time spent living in Denmark, my work focuses on simple form, linear patterned design and soft contrasting colours to invite a tactile approach to her products, designed to appeal to the users senses.
