The story of the Curvalinea range of tables began in a workshop in Southern England, ‘I drew the shapes out by hand onto a sheet of board, we cut them out and selected the ones I liked best.’ The curvy shapes happened because I wanted to design a distinctive low table with modern style and an irreverent, characterful quality. I did lots of drawings, and we cut templates until I was happy with the shapes as a group of individuals that work together. We finalised four shapes for the tops and developed a unique tapered shape for the legs. The Bean, Comma, Petal and Palette then went into production in six vibrant colours.
