Dog Jug

Small jug or a creamer, part of of Market Estate range that commemorates the original Market Estate site, a housing complex in Caledonian Road. A stones throw away from Kings Cross, it was once the site of a Victorian Pleasure Garden, the march of the Tolpuddle Martyrs, the largest cattle market in London and a bustling bric-a-brac market. The demolished Market Estate can now take its rightful place in the rich and complex story of the local community and its people.
